Return to the Doctor

The pain had become so unbearable that I truly couldn't ignore it anymore! Scott and the kids would come near my back and I would cringe. Anything that even lightly brushed against it was agony. I went back to the doctor and let him know the muscle relaxers in no way helped manage the pain. The bump had gotten larger and he still didn't look/feel it. He instead sent me to get an x-ray.
